Final Blog

So, this is the final blog of the semester. It was a great semester for our class and I feel like we all got a lot out of the class. I've learned a lot of things about researching articles as well communicating in general. The topics that were covered in class all applied to the real world and that is important to me. Everything brought up had a purpose and there was meaning behind it. I got a lot out of this class and I appreciate everyone who was involved.

Communications Studies in General

When I was thinking recently about why I choose to be a comm major I was not really sure the reasons. Now, after looking back I have realized that it is all about the relationships you are able to build with people. Not only do I learn stuff that applies to class, but also the real world. It is important for us to know how to communicate with others and build relationships and I think being a comm major helps out. Everyday I meet somebody new and being able to spark a conversation and relate to life situations helps to get to know the person and I feel like I am able to do this because of my major. Math and Science help to pass your class but it is tough to apply those subjects to the real world. Being a comm major I feel like I practice what I have learned each and every day and that is important to me.
